Mission Statement

To educate the public about the brewing industry in Florida; promote networking and educational opportunities between brewers, consumers, suppliers, and government regulatory agencies; and continually promote free market access of the Florida brewing industry to the public.

The Early Days

Founded nearly two decades ago, by local Tampa brewers, the Florida Brewers Guild was built on the ideas of uniting an industry for advocacy and sharing of best practices in an effort to elevate brewing across the state.

Past Successes

Since 1996, the FBG has been responsible for helping increase bottle size standards, permitting the influx of import and craft beers into the market, and fostering the growth of craft beer in Florida.

The Florida Brewers Guild will continue to advocate for beneficial public policy that fosters innovation and creativity. We will support and recruit pro-craft brewery policy makers who stand up for our values. And, we will create an open dialogue between brewers, industry partners and beer lovers to further the success of Florida’s craft brewing community.
